As a kid we stayed at Bolingbrook flats on Lytham Road, it was next to a cafe and opposite a chippy, there was a hairdressers in the yard basement, we absolutely loved going every year, we used to arrive on the coach down the road, get unpacked them mum and me would go over to T askers for the food shopping, absolute heavenly memories !

I used to live at 240 Watson rd left there in 1986. I remember everyone playing on the greens , the big telephone box on the green . The Bungalow , i think it had some kind of builders yard at the back , but the bungalow had dolls everywhere and fake flowers . lots of little shops in that one area .it was a great street

The blue pipes are water mains, they must be connecting the houses to the big main under the road as many are nearly finishd now, we always watched the Grand National and the Boat Race too, i think it was the done thing when we were young, it's my Birthday today and so much has changed over the last 64 years and not always for rge better!

See you walking past the old abc site so sad cars parked there some of the county’s biggest entertainers were on tv from that building keeping the nation happy and it wasn’t saved if only society concentrated more on saving ordinary people’s heritage rather than stately homes who have no connection to ordinary people towns like Blackpool would have kept more jewels of buildings
